i am dealing with this disorder for 2 years i used to eat only 200 calories and my eyes looked hollow and now that i have consumed 900 for a year people have been saying i look better and hydrated how did this happen and did you ever deal with this? how much does it take to gain weight

Why isn't my bearded dragon eating more crickets?
I brought my Beardie home 3 days ago. She is 3 months old, very active, sleeps well; the tank has perfect heat, and lighting, and she stays hydrated. From the minute she wakes up she acts like shes starving. I try to feed her twice a day, but she is completely uninterested until a couple of hours before she goes to sleep, even then she only eats 5 or 6. Shouldn't she be eating 25-50 a day? Is this a normal time for them to eat? Is she just trying to get used to the new environment?

I am very superstitious in basketball and today I shot 3/3 from 3-pt range and I finished with 13-15 points and I really don't shoot so well from downtown but this was just practice. Anyways I have a game tomorrow but i realized that before practice today, all I had was just 1 cup of milk and I want to be hydrated before the game. What is the best light weight hydrating foundation?
I have good skin and I don't ever break out but my skin is very dry. I live in the high desert and it's hot and dry. I hardly ever wear foundation but I start working soon and it should be a habit to put on make up now. What foundation do you suggest I use with this kind of skin type. Also keep in mind I wear glasses and in my past experience liquid foundation smears at my nose bridge where my glasses rest on my nose. I don't mind liquid foundation but if anyone has ever run into this problem how do you guys solve it? Thanks!

How do i wash natural african hair with a sulfate free shampoo?
Just because its not foaming doesn't mean its not cleansing. Part your hair in section and was one section at a time. Also you can use conditioner as you can shampoo to get out dirt that may still be there. It takes practice to find a method that works.
Question about dyeing hair safety?

Legs are REALLY itchy?
All righty, so it started this past thursday. My legs were really itchy after shaving my lower legs. I have not shaved my upper legs (thighs) for MONTHS...it's winter, I don't wear shorts, so why bother, right? Well, after I shaved my lower legs, my upper legs started to itch REALLY bad. It's my lower legs too, but not as much as my thighs. It got to the point where last night I woke up around 4:30 A.M. and realized I was itching my legs. In my sleep. I also have bruises on my right thigh and my left lower leg, near the inside. What can I do to stop the itching?? I don't want it to escalate any more. I am trying to put lotion on at least once a day, after I shower. I am going to start putting it on twice a day - when I put my jeans on in the morning and after I shower at night. A hairdresser walking down the street came up to me and asked if he could cut my hair?
today I was walking downtown when some guy stopped me on the sidewalk. he said he was a hairdresser and said that my hair was in desperate need of a haircut. he said that my hair is completely damaged and that he wanted to cut my hair badly. my hair goes down to my mid back and does have quite a fee split ends because of my constant hair straightening and also because I haven't gotten a haircut since November and when I did I didn't get rid of the split ends. he looked at my hair and said that he would have to cut at least 6 inches off if not more and said it would really compliment my oblong face. he offered me to do it right then for free but I said I would think about it and he gave me his card. he works at rejuve salon and spa which is a nice aveda salon just a fee blocks from where we were. should I let this hairdresser that I have only met for 10 minutes cut my hair. he is going to cut off at least 6 inches which would put it below my shoulders and he could possibly cut shorter. what should I do??

Tips on making my hair look nicer?
Okay well I am great at mixing things to find something that works for almost everything, but my hair is a completely different story. I have thick hair and I am currently using Aveda shampoo and straightening stuff, my hair is soft and doesn't look greasy or anything, but I have no clue how to get rid of those hairs that frizz up randomly at the top of my head! I also live in a dry cold climate and dont know how to keep my hair very straight! So if you had these ideas or know how to stop them, can you tell me how? Help please!?

My three year old yorkie is poorly.?
three weeks ago he started vomiting at least three times a day, and also regurgitating his food. he wasn't able to keep down any water either. i took him to the vets and was told he didn't have a temperature. but his anal glands were big and his stomach was tense. they prescribed him with pro-kolin and a solution to keep him hydrated, it didnt make him any better and when he had two stools with bloody mucus i took him to the emergency vets they then gave me more of the solution and also some zantac and antepsin. he seems alot better than he was but is still being sick on a daily basis. its a white foam and he seems to be choking/suffocating when he does so. its quite scary and i am very concerned. any advice? thanks.

Scared... Stomach bug..?
I have the stomach virus and it's now day 5. I'm on day 2 of pure liquid diarrhea and I'm starting to worry.. (I do have anxiety/panic disorder) so that may be why I'm on yahoo answers asking this. So what? I have severe sinus drainage issues, plus working in a severley dry medical environment and washing your hands about 300 times a day with harsh soaps, you need hand lotion. Why does everything have to have a freak element with you?

Leopard gecko very sick please help!?
I'm in desperate need of help. I bought two baby geckos recently, one is a little bit older than the other, but they are both definitely babies. This is my first time owning geckos, but I feel that I am doing rather well. One of the babies I bought though is extremely skinny and small. The problem is, it was tiny to start with and now it seems to be on the verge of death. His tail does not have ANY fat and I can see his spine. Recently, the area behind his eyes have started to cave in. I noticed it not eating the first week so I tried to isolate it from the other to eat and it just doesn't act interested in food at all. What I have had to do is hand feed it live crickets. I hold the cricket from its back feet and move it in front of the baby gecko's face. Doing this it still takes a while for him to bite at it. Recently even trying to hand feed it, it turns away. I have also tried dead food (which is a no go for him) and mealworms (which he won't touch). I have found it sleeping in its water bowl, in the corners, or even the other gecko laying on top of him. The two geckos get along perfectly and are housed in a 10 gal tank. The temperature is usually between 85 and 90 during the day. And a pretty steady 75 at night. The humidity is usually around 40 but can vary. I mist the cage about three times a day and even spray some on their face and bodies to keep them hydrated. I also noticed his stomach having a very large triangle shape reddish mark but thinking he was just so skinny that I could see his organs, now I believe it could be the reason he's sick. Oh, and I've had him checked for parasites it's not that. He doesn't mind to be misted with water or held either, he actually seems to enjoy it. I know it's a lot to ask, but I also don't know exactly what type of gecko he is, well leopard obviously but he has stripes and everything but has a whitish tint overtop of it all and has two full red eyes, does anyone know that classification? Everyone I have talked to came to a dead end and didn't know what to do, that's why I'm posting here. He is so tiny it's sad I just want him better! I did so much research before I got them and thought I'd go with no problems but here I am. If you need more info just ask I'm willing to do anything to get this little guy better. My boyfriend just started a new job in a factory. The place smells horrible and when he comes home, so does he! He gets in the shower immediately and scrubs like crazy, but he still smells! He's tried Axe body wash and Irish Spring body wash. On his hair, he used my Aveda shampoo. His hair still smells too. Today he said he even scrubbed down twice. I can't stand the smell! I would not say it is normal or abnormal really, with you being active and drinking lots of gatorade could be what is stimulating your bladder more than normal. If you was male I would say you have a prostate problem. In your case it may not be an issue now however, in later years you may have to contend with an over active bladder matter. Try cutting back on the gatorade and drink more water and see if the amount of urges decreases or or increases. If they stay the same or become more then I would see a doctor about it.

Why am I not loosing weight?
Well one reason is that as you get older its going to be harder to lose wieght. But I think what your big problem is that if you want to really lose weight you have to watch your water in take. I'm a wrestler so I know a little bit about making weight and the key is water weight. You have to drink enough to be hydrated but not to much that it adds weight. This can be difficult after running or workouts but it gets easier if all you drink is water and you cut out all soda. Good luck and I hope this helps.
Will my hair color fade?
I have natural black hair. I dyed it for the first time a few days ago at Aveda to a medium brown (permanent). Everything came out fine except for my roots, for some reason those came out orange/red, like a ginger. The stylist went ahead and put a brown demi color over where it was orange and the color looks perfect. My fear is that because the brown is demi it will fade and I will get stuck with the orange. Will this happen? Will I have orange hair? Will the orange fade away? Also, does Aveda permanent color fade? and if it does, to what color?

Try.. Tea Tree Oil. Or I also read online that 100%Olive Oil is great on the skin(but doesn't get rid of spots) it moisturizes. =) Good Luck. Consider doing some research on the things I mentioned.

I would consider moving to NYC for a year to attend school. Not only does it only take 1000 hours to get your license, you'll be around the place where all the trends start, and all of the mist talented hair stylists and students. The schools are a much more down to business approach in the city. It also looks much better on a resume to go to school in NY or LA for anything fashion or aesthetically related.
Is it okay to give my 1 year old powerade?
My daughter has had a fever for a few days and really isn't interested in eating/drinking much. Is it okay to give her a bit of powerade to keep her hydrated? When I was pregnant, my doctor told me to drink powerade for the electrolytes so I thought I would try giving her a bit as well. My mother told me to give her like a few mls every half hour or something so that she doesn't get too much sugar at once. Is it okay to give it to her in small amounts?
Not feeling good after donating blood?
I have given blood many times before and I've never felt sick after before. I felt fine right after giving, and I did the whole juice and cookies thing after. I'm healthy, young, and well hydrated. About 20 minutes after giving, I almost passed out. I rested and ate and was feeling better, but then I felt light headed again and threw up. What could be causing this? No. A cucumber is alive until it is fully ripe and for a couple of days after that. Once ripe the decomposing starts. Preserving it as a pickle/relish or any other means does not make it live again.

Why didn't I have a hangover?
Okay so it was new years and I was with my family (who are Mexican so they do drink a lot , lol) anyway I had a sip of remy with pineapple juice/vodka/ 2 half shots of tequila/ and beer mixed with sprite. Its not whether its believable or not.. its the genuine fact that it is not healthy at all!!!! Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. I'm assuming the person who did this was like 500 pounds and a total carb junkie. I could definitely see someone that big losing 40ish pounds in a month. Its not healthy though. So two days ago I had the stomach flu. I woke up and puked almost 20 times in 5 hours. I was so weak and exhausted so my husband took me to the instacare where they gave me some anti-nausea medicine and iv fluids to get my hydrated again. Well, yesterday I was feeling a lot better, so my husband and I went to dinner at a Japanese steak house. I had teriyaki noodles with sesame seeds. After I ate, I had the worst stomach cramps and I needed to use the bathroom but couldn't. Finally this morning, I was able to go (it was diarrhea) and noticed all the sesame seeds in it, as well as a noodle. Now, I am pretty sure this was not a worm. It was as long as a noodle, and my stools had the same color as the noodle blended in it. Is this normal? thanks,
My pee smells really horrible?
Well for the past few days my pee has been dark yellow, very cloudy, and has smelt horrible. So horrible that I thought the dog **** outside my bathroom door the first time I noticed. It also hurts a bit, and there is a lot of pressure as well, but only when I'm pretty much done peeing, I don't feel the need to frequently urinate, and when i need to pee I can pee a lot before it starts hurting. I have sex frequently with my boyfriend, but I'm positive this isn't a sexually transmitted disease or infection. I keep very well hydrated, and cranberry juice has always been my favorite drink. I recently started using Encare as a form of birth control, but when I say recent I mean about two months ago. I'm sure its just a U.t.i., or something small but on the off chance that its something larger I would like to know. I can't find anything helpful anywhere online, but I'm not the most internet-savvy person as well. kidney disease and diabetes do run in my family, but I've never shown signs of either in the past.. maybe I'm just making mountains out of molehills though.

I'm just falling apart?
For the past few weeks every afternoon I start feeling like I'm coming down with the flu. After lunch I get a headache, and I just feel run down. But when I wake up the next morning, I feel fine. For like, 2 minutes. Then I just get tired out during the day. All these wacky things are happening, and I'm not sure if any of them are related, but I guess I'll just list them all. For starters, I've been really thirsty lately. I try to ignore the thirst at school and just drink when I normally do, and not anymore than that, because if I drink even a little bit, I have to pee 4 times the amount. It gets annoying at school. When I come home from school I drink and drink and drink, and then pee and pee and pee. I'm starting to have these episodes again that went away, and now are back, where I'll eat some food and then fall asleep. I don't want to fall asleep, and I try really hard to stay awake, but I end up sleeping until my body lets me wake up, which is usually hours later. The other afternoon I ate some oreos and slept for 5 hours. This isn't normal. I have an extremely strong bladder, so I can hold my pee better than anyone I know, but I'm still peeing more times than usual, and when I do pee, I pee a LOT. Yesterday I was really busy and didn't get the chance to pee for like, 4 hours, which wouldn't be a big deal, but I started to get a stomach ache and when I did pee, I peed like, 2 cups. Literally. It was so much pee. And then my stomach ache went away. I don't know if any of this stuff is related, but I've been getting more headaches lately, my lips are chapped, my eyes sometimes start to sting like they're dry, and LED or LCD or whatever lights like on clocks and scoreboards look weird to me, like someone smeared them with their hand. My foot sometimes starts having a really bad pins and needles feeling that makes me want to throw stuff. It happens in my hands too. My scalp is SUPER itchy and dry. I'm itching it so much I'm leaving scabs. I had a canker sore a while back that shouldn't have even turned into a canker sore. It was just a bump in my mouth that got infected and took a while to heal. It was really painful. Plus I have this recurring cold sore thing on my lip that came back out of nowhere. It's painful as well. There's a bruise on my leg from last week when I fell up the stairs and smacked my shin on the edge of a stair, and it left a big welt that's still there and it still hurts when people bump my leg or when I touch it. It's not any better at all. My skin's just really dry in general, which makes no sense because I'm drinking more water now than ever. Sometimes after I eat I get really nauseous and dry heave, but I don't actually puke. One time after dinner I did puke some of it up. That was weird. Sometimes I get pain on the left side of my stomach. I feel like I can't get hydrated because I'm peeing everything out, and I can never get full so I keep on eating. I'm just a disaster. If anyone has any idea what this might be, or if it's just a virus that will go away (although I've never had a virus for this long) I just don't want to go to the doctor because it's not like I'm dying or anything. I'm afraid I'll go to the doctor and they'll tell me I'm fine. That's always annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry this is so long!

How will I afford an apartment while in cosmetology school?
I'd imagine you may be able to make money on the side by cutting people's hair while you're studying. I wonder if you might also make money if you work in the school's own salon? You may also need to take on a part-time job.
My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma 5 months ago and has been receiving chemotherapy.?
She has been doing relatively well on the chemo with the vet, though during the past week or so has not had any interest in eating anything ... including meat and all of her other favorites. Naturally, her energy level is low as well and she seems to not have much interest in all of her favorite things. She is also vomiting throughout the day despite having medication from her vet to suppress nausea. She has little interest in drinking anything and is having fluids "forced" in her to try to keep her from dehydrating. Any ideas on how else to help her? The vet told me to continue trying to keep her hydrated and is hoping the appetite will come around. I appreciate any thoughts.
Why are my hands cracking?
On my hands there a few spots where its worse as if someone went at it with a metal brush on my hands.They bleed often and im scared that its spreading,lotions dont help and the ones that do burn horribly.There is a red patch on my arms and im worried that this is not dry skin from winter.Making a fist makes it more likely that they will bleed and its quiet painless just very itchy.Does anyone know what this might be?

From your doctor's choice of antibiotic, I suspect your doctor felt you had bronchitis. I would keep taking the antibiotics, and if you're not significantly better in another 3 or 4 days, call your primary doctor (no need for another ER visit). If your breathing problems get significantly worse (worsening shortness of breath) in the meantime, then by all means go to the ER.

regardless of what color your hair is they can't charge you extra. I had the same problem to and their base price was $60.00 and that's all I had paid. I have tried changing my hair color back to normal for about 7 months and when I went there the products they used did it!!! yay!! But seriously, that can't charge you extra. Call and see and by the way they didn't have to do anything extra it just had to sit a little longer than normal. Goodluck!!!

Bumble and Bumble is the best shampoo there is. It's for colour treated hair and they have different kinds according to the type of hair you have. It's a little expensive, but gives incredible results.

So currently, I use aveda products in my hair when I am straightening it. First, I wash and condition my hair with a aveda shampoo and conditioner, then I put aveda's confixor in my hair immediately after towel-drying my hair. After that, I put aveda's Glossing Straightener in my hair from roots to tips distributing the product evenly with a comb... Then I blow dry my hair straight with a straightening pick that attaches to my hair dryer... After my hair is blow dried, I apply Tresseme's Heat Tamer spray throughout my hair and straighten my hair with my Helen of Troy ceramic straightener... Then I'm done, and my hair immediately starts to get curly mostly near the ends and underneath right when I step foot outside... Please help me solve this desperate problem!!! I have horrible calf pain when I run, please help!?
I'm in my 6th week of training to run for a 1/2 marathon. I started off slow and I am only up to 6 miles nonstop running. The problem is that a 1/2 mile into my run my calves lock up, then around 1 mile I start getting shin splints and then eventually my feet go numb (my calves feel hard as rocks when I stop). I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing, I am really hydrated, stretching in the morning, before my run and after. I am also eating an extremely healthy diet. I went and had my run evaluated and I have an almost perfect gate, they also recommended shoes for the way that I run. I am at a total loss what to do for my calves! This is starting to hold me back, because it's almost impossible to continue running. Please help!

You need to go see a doctor. Maybe get a catscan. This could turn up either being a small disorder or a symptom of worst things to come. There is nothing wrong with going to the doctor to get check out. So do this as soon as possible. What would happen if his happened while you were driving (crash) or swimming (drown) or while your simply eating or drinking (chock), this could be fatal. So please go to your General doctor and see if he suggest you to get check out at a hospital to see a specialist that works with these types of problems.
Cat wont drink a lot of water?

I am very superstitious in basketball and today I shot 3/3 from 3-pt range and I finished with 13-15 points and I really don't shoot so well from downtown but this was just practice. Anyways I have a game tomorrow but i realized that before practice today, all I had was just 1 cup of milk and I want to be hydrated before the game. SO my question is "can i just drink a lot of water today (15 cups or so) and just have my 1 cup of milk tomorrow and still be hydrated? I'll drink 5 cups of water during the game but i don't want to risk my health because of my superstitions.

Why are my lips always so dry and what kind of chap stick do you recommended?
My lips are very dry. I have to out on chap stick about every half hour. :( I can assure you, I am plenty hydrated, so I do not see how that would be the issue. Is there a different reason as to why I have such dry lips? What kind of chap stick would you recommended? (Not blistex or Chapsick, I don't like them at all) The best kind I have tried was the vasilene squeeze thing, but I'm wondering if there's something better. Thanks so much! :)

I suddenly have a Lotion Allergy?
I have that chronically dry winter skin, and this morning I used a new lotion from Bath & Body Works. I put it on my legs, butt, back, and arms. It burned a little, but I thought it was because my skin was soooo dry. That was at 10 am. It is now 3:30 pm and my entire body is on fire! I'm working till 6:00 pm, and I'm the only one here so I can't go home. I don't think taking a shower will help, because it's already absorbed into my skin! Does anybody have any advice? I will take a Benadryl at home, but is there anything for allergies/rashes like aloe vera is for sunburn? I've never had anything like this before.

Black hair to Playboy blond hair at Aveda, how much money am I looking at?
I have shoulder length hair with Betty Page bangs, currently I have black hair that has just recently been deemed as healthy again. It, at one point, was extremely dead and fried do to countless times of dying my hair the colors of the rainbow and quite a long stint of pure white hair (using just bleach to get it that light.) Now I am scared to dye it blond on my own but I would love to have to have the color of Kendra Wilson or Jenna Jameson-- they both have gorgeous blondes! I've never had a bad experience at Aveda so really trust their students and want to get it done there, but how much should I expect to spend for this?

Yes pantyhose will definitely make it feel better. But do NOT use lotion! It will be very sticky especially if your in a rush. I suggest rubbing some baby powder on your legs. They will slip right on!

Well first of all, cut down on all those acne washes, they do damage to your skin and cause redness and drying. You do not want to do more damage to your skin. If i were you, i would schedule an appointment my doctor to ask for TAZORAC. It is an acne cream that works well, cleared me up in a week, and i was a bad case. It doesnt dry your face up, doesnt cause redness, and doesnt have bad side effects, unless youre allergic for it. It is a prescription medicine and it will cost around $80 for a month supply but im sure your insurance will cover it. Dont be shy to go to your doctor. I swear, try TAZORAC cream for a week and youll see something happen.
Calf pain during running, please help!?
I'm in my 6th week of training to run for a 1/2 marathon. I started off slow and I am only up to 6 miles nonstop running. The problem is that a 1/2 mile into my run my calves lock up, then around 1 mile I start getting shin splints and then eventually my feet go numb (my calves feel hard as rocks when I stop). I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing, I am really hydrated, stretching in the morning, before my run and after. I am also eating an extremely healthy diet. I went and had my run evaluated and I have an almost perfect gate, they also recommended shoes for the way that I run. I am at a total loss what to do for my calves! This is starting to hold me back, because it's almost impossible to continue running. Please help!

What do you use on your eczema?
I'm 17 and have a form of dermatitis or eczema. I've been to the doctor for it a few times(although I have yet to see a dermatologist) and they gave me expensive creams that helped but there's only so much in a tube and no refills. Every time the season or weather changes dramatically, which here in Kansas it does very often, I break out and my skin just feels so itchy. I itch one little time and I get tons of little red bumps. It happens mostly on my neck, arms, legs, and right now on my lower abdomen although it doesn't always break out there. I use lots of lotion, a&d ointment, neosporin, or cortisone lotion and cream, depending on what's in reach when I start itching but I'm curious what everyone else uses. Any good treatments? Remedies? Anything is appreciated!! (:

Ok, my hair has been died numerous amount of times, its had a perm, and its just awful. I use to straighten it EVERYDAY and also blow dry it and curl it and all kinds of stuff. And now, my hair is pretty much dead and i hate it. Also, when i shower, my hair dries really fast and gets all stiff. You want a nice quality pump, Medela and Avent are both good and I can use my Medela without pain. It shouldn't be painful, pain means you may be damaging your nipple. Medela also has many "flute" sizes to get a comfortable fit. If you will be pumping for awhile then the couple hundred dollars is a good investment, Medela also makes manual pumps that are quite a bit less expensive. Do not get a brand that makes lots of other products like Evenflo, (Avent is the exception), generally speaking you should be planning to pay at least a hundred or more for a double electric pump, stay way from ones that seem too good to be true (like a double electric with carry bag, bottles, etc for only $30.00).

I am 15 and i am looking for a new hairdresser. I currently have a girl hairdresser and go to salon eclipse. She is nice but i do not like the way she cuts my hair. I,m sorry this is going to be tough on you. No animal should suffer like that . We also have recently experienced that with our black lab cross at 12 Weeks. Take him to the vet asap to get him rehydrate by iv. The syringe method helps pending if his keeping it down. 2 tsp should be ok but water is important also. About the food well I feel is also important but in small amounts. We also made a homemade electrolyte of tablespoon of honey, teaspoon of sea salt in one litre of water. Also administered by syringe in the mouth. So sorry its hard . Why do i need to go pee so much?
I am pregnant, but even before i was pregnant i always had a problem with needing to go to much. i notice that i go to the bathroom a lot more than other people i know, and sometimes people ask me what is wrong and why i go to the bathroom so much. I have visited the doctor and they have not found anything wrong. they said i do not have any infections, no UTI, no yeast infection, and no STD's. They all say that im very healthy, and i have even been checked for diabetes. i do not have diabetes. i think i might just have a overactive bladder. I do not have a problem wetting the bed, but i do wake up to go to the bathroom at night, some nights more than others. everyone tells me to drink a lot of water to keep hydrated but i do not want to because i can not handle it. sometimes i drink one bottle a day, and even after that i keep going.

The day after rolling X for the first time?
So last night was the first time I ever tried ecstasy. It was amazing, breautiful, and frighteningly good. I peaked normally, stayed hydrated, felt everything great. But waking up this morning, I feel a little...cracked out, I guess. My mind feels like it's still there, I can't stop yawning, and my body is surprisingly hyper--weird...I'm not sure how to handle this. Advice please! They lay there on the table and think of how their dodging a bullet, think that maybe they'll use birth control next time, they probably don't actually try to see what's going on "down there" they don't watch as the baby's sucked out and as the heartbeat stops. It's sad that these woman who so strongly believe in pro choice could agree with women using abortion as birth control as they tuck their young ones to bed at night. I guess i need to do some thorough research as to the numbers ( I try not to know because it's too damn sad) but I'm sure that every day their child lives another one dies. The women who carried her unborn child in her womb till 9 months passed just to deliver a stillborn and grieve for the loss of what she held dear, all in vain, and their women who so nonchalantly throw away their child because it doesn't fit into their lifestyle. Such a sad day when more people agree with it than not. When will women come to realize that spreading their legs was their choice. I guess when more become unselfish and more responsible.

My new hamster won't drink?
So, yesterday I bought a hamster. He's active and really friendly, not shy at all. He'll eat, but he hasn't drank any of his water from the bottle yet. It's been over a day now, and I tried showing him how and putting it near him, but he still won't. Is this bad? I've been giving him celery&carrots to keep him hydrated. Should I put his water in a bowl and let him drink it like a cat/dog would? Is it just because he's new?
Good cosmetology schools?
I currently go to a university and have always wanted to be a cosmetologist but I didn't think it was something that I really should do. But after a year and a half at the university I find myself thinking about it more and more and realizing that I should do what I really think will make me happy. Are the advanced courses in cosmetology school worth it?
I plan on going to Aveda Institute to get my cosmetology license because apparently all the other top cosmetology schools only teach you the basics. So my plan is after I'm done, I plan on continuing my education in the advanced courses Paul Mitchell, Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy offers. Is this a good idea? Is it worth going to all 3 of those schools to get advanced education? I think it would look awesome on my resume? It's also cheaper than spending 20k at one school just to learn the basic training, instead I can spend 12k at Aveda and then use the other 8k at the other 3 schools. Does this sound good?

I was thinking about getting the burts bees positively radiant face wash and lotion. I'm just not sure about them because when I used the positively radiant face moisturizer from aveeno my face stung. I have a dry patch on my skin, and on the sides of my nose gets a bit oily, and right at the hairline at my forehead because of my bangs. I reallydont get pimples but I get a blackhead right on the edge of my upper lip. I'm not really sure if I have sensitive skin or normal skin.

Will my hair go back to normal?
I dyed my hair for the first time at Aveda about 2 shades lighter. I really love the color but my hair feels dryer than usual. My hair has always been very well moisturized but now although its not horrible it just doesn't feel the same. I use a deep conditioner often,I always have, even before I dyed my hair. When will it get back to its normal texture? Will it ever? Thanks!

As long as you can count and know how to properly measure and mix things you will be fine. It's just hair, makeup and nails. Easiest stuff in the world! I would worry more about the ability to give a good haircut/design.

I don't want my hair to be crunchy or wet-looking when it dries..As of now, i use Aveda Be Curly. My hair is kind of like a wave/curl...and I want it to be curlier. It makes my hair all crunchy and always looks wet. I don't like it, and even when i use a diffuser, it is still wet and my curls don't curl all that greatly. How can I keep my hair straight with long layers in it?
First off, I'm female, white, with brunette hair. My hair dresser has told me that it's because of the layers that it won't stay pin straight. Also, my hair is naturally wavy/slight curls. I never expected it to be pin straight, but when I straighten it, it will stay how I like it for about an hour or two then the ends begin messing up. The products I use are Kenra hydrating shampoo/conditioner. For a heat protection, I use Kenra Thermal Styling Spray. (My hair is healthy and I keep up with a healthy haircut, and have no dead ends currently. Also, these are high quality products.) My straightener isn't high-end, but decent, so maybe that's the problem that I need a better one? Also, without the layers my hair looks too thick for my liking, so growing them out isn't really an answer I'm looking for. Any tips, tricks, product suggestions? Thanks so much in advance. :)

Cat has had diarrhea for 2 days now!?
ok so 3am sat night i woke up and noticed cat puke all over my bathroom! i have two cats but soon realized it was my cat gray. he was sitting on my couch very lethargic and just not himself so i was very worried..and called the vet 1st thing sat and got an appt for him..that morning he also refused to eat which is soo unlike him! so i bring him to the vet they take blood and did xrays everything was perfect! so she gave him fluids and some perscription canned cat food for him to eat over the next couple days and to keep an eye on him..he ended up acting a lot better when we got home he ate a little bit and by night he was running around playing..this morning he was also fine and ate very well! but tonight when i fed the cats he only ate a small amount and seems a little tired again deff not as bad..could he of just over did it last night? he has also has diarrhea 2 times since sat..once after the vet sat and once today..i just also want him to stay hydrated but hes not a big water drinker so i have been adding water to his wet food and hes eating some of it..would some tuna water be ok? or to hard on him tummy? the vets wants a update tomorrow so if hes still having diarrhea ill let her know but was looking for some advise before then! thanks!!
Dude, my poop is lquid?
Okay, I have been eating healthy (veggies, rice, fibre) but my poop is still liquid. I have kept hydrated too. I did eat six kiwis, and I notice that it burns too. Could this be it? The colouring is reddish brown (am I bleeding?). I am pretty sure everything'll be fine. But just in case I want everyone on the internet to know my health problem. This liquid poop thing has been going on for 2 days now.

How Can i ever fix my hamstring?
I need some serious hamstring help. I'm not a track sprinter, but I play rugby and for the last 3 years I've been hurting my hamstring at least once a year, sometimes twice. This hamstring injury just prevented me from playing in a tournament in las vegas and I'm sick of it always getting hurt. I stretch it, I always am drinking water to make sure I am hydrated, and I make sure to lift plenty with my hamstring to strengthen it so that my quads arent too strong in comparison to my hamstrings. I don't know what else to do. I never go to doctor's anymore because all they did for it was rehab it, get me back on my feet, and then eventually it just gets hurt again. What can I do??? HELP!

Did I urinate or did my water break?
So I'm 36.5 weeks pregnant, and 2cm dilated. I was sitting on the couch watching television, and I had to sneeze, so I did. As I did I felt a fluid come out, not a lot, but not so little either. I thought I urinated, so I went to the bathroom. I tried to pee, but nothing happened. Then when I stood a tiny bit of fluid trickled again, and it was clear and odorless. My urine, even when I'm well hydrated, still has a little bit of a yellow color, and a faint odor. This had absolutely no color, and no odor at all. I can't tell if I ruptured a small tear in my amniotic sac, or if I just peed a little.....has anyone gone through this before? Since then there's been no leaking, but I'm still concerned.

I am 15 and i am looking for a new hairdresser. I currently have a girl hairdresser and go to salon eclipse. She is nice but i do not like the way she cuts my hair. Whenever i ask for a trim or a couple inches off she always cuts off way more. For example. My last haircut i asked for an inch trim and she ended up chooping off four. She also makes my layers look to choppy and blunt. I want to find a new stylists but i dont know if i should find a male or female one. I have never had a male hairdresser but ive heard that they do very well. They usually are really honest about hair. I also think a male would be good because all the women hairdressers i have had always tell me to cut my hair shorter than i want or chop all my hair off. Who do you recommend me going to? I am only 15 so it doesnt have to be too expensive of a haircut. Should i go to great clips or should i go to something nice like aveda rejuve salon. How can I stop myself from getting sick all the time?
I'm always ill, whenever there is a cold going round I always get it. My mum thinks I have a low immune system or something. Is there anything I can do to stop myself from getting sick all the time? Anything I can eat or drink? I do have a healthy diet, I eat lots of fruit and pretty much always have veg with tea. I don't drink as much water as I should, but I try to stay hydrated. Hi, I'm currently and Aveda student in Florida and I think the school is great! I started in August of this year and I am happy with it so far. I do believe it is worth it. I had to pay around 18,000 which seems like a lot, I know, but if this is really something you want to pursue then this is deffinately the school to go to. You just need to have a copy of your high school diploma or G.E.D. They do not ask for transcripts or S.A.T. scores. The Aveda program is 13 months long but worth it in the end when you graduate. Every salon owner or stylist that I know understands the extensive Aveda program and are glad to accept Aveda graduates into their salons. Aveda really prepares you for a job in a salon right after you graduate. I really hope that this helps, let me know if this is what you decide to do. To put foundation or to not put foundation!?
heey so i just had stitches on my face.. i know :( bummer and i am a CONSTANT foundation powder all the works kinda girl but now that i have these scars i dont want to put makeup on them due to infection so my qustion is can i still put on bronzer and blush ? in the sense of will it stick to my face without the foundation? is there anything gentle i can put on like lotion so these powders stay? thanks alot guys im tired of my pale skin!
