I am in good shape, and up until a year ago was doing ab workouts regularly, without any problems. After my workout (200 crunches, properly hydrated) i fell asleep, and the next morning felt massive pain in my abdomens, and have been feeling it for the last three days. Could it possibly be a pulled muscle?
It's a possibility. 200 crunches seems excessive to me. Also there are better exercises to do than crunches. Check out http://www.howtogetabsinaweekinfo.org to learn about a couple.
