Could i be pregnant? or is it all just in my head?

my hubby and i have been ttc for 10 months but nothing. i have irregular periods so i dont know when or if i ovulate. i just got off my period a week ago. but i had a friend who had normal periods for 4 months before she found out she was pregnant. but recently iv been feeling something moving inside me kind of like gas but i havnt really had gas at all. and iv been having to eat and drink more to stay hydrated but im not sure if that could be related to me working out recently. but when i got in the shower my breasts were kind of sore and looked just a little different in color around my nipple. could i be pregnant??
