Hair gods please help me ?

I'm a dude and my hair is reallllly reallllly dry I'm wanting headbanger hair, I wash my hair maybe every 3 days maybe more I use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner, a deep conditioner, olive oil treatment once a week, and I use a leave in conditioner daily and my hair is still dry as carpet WTF !!!!?
