To put foundation or to not put foundation!?

heey so i just had stitches on my face.. i know :( bummer and i am a CONSTANT foundation powder all the works kinda girl but now that i have these scars i dont want to put makeup on them due to infection so my qustion is can i still put on bronzer and blush ? in the sense of will it stick to my face without the foundation? is there anything gentle i can put on like lotion so these powders stay? thanks alot guys im tired of my pale skin!
